AS LOVE WOULD HAVE IT
the original full-length play by Tressa Carroll
the Light-Touch Performance
AN ODE TO SHAKESPEARE'S COMEDIES
This piece gathers, homages, subverts, and expounds upon some of Shakespeare's most gripping tropes.
WHAT IS A LIGHT-TOUCH PERFORMANCE?
Because this work is a living document, the actors will be holding their scripts, and costumes, props, and set pieces will be few and far between.
AWARDS
This script (two different drafts of it) has won the 2025 Mayhew Award for One Act Play and the 2026 Mayhew Award for Best Full-length Play
A NEW AND IMPROVING WORK
This play is still in development! In exchange for a free show, I will be asking for (and appreciating!) your feedback.
WHERE? WHEN? HOW LONG?
The performance will be Sunday, August 2nd at 4PM (doors open at 3:45PM) at ImprovBroadway (496 900 E, Provo, UT 84606). The show runs at just under 2 hours.
IS THIS SHOW FAMILY-FRIENDLY?
This show uses biblical swearing and has some light sexual themes.
